In the Republika Srpska, vaccination against the coronavirus has begun with the Russian vaccine “Sputnik V”, which will be received today by about thirty health workers of the University Clinical Center / UCC / in Banja Luka.

The first dose of the “Sputnik” vaccine was received by the general director of the UCC of Srpska, Vlado Dajic, and the director of the RS Institute of Public Health, Branislav Zeljkovic, and then by 30 employees in the covid departments of the largest health institution.

The official start of vaccination in RS at the UCC was attended by the Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Alen Seranic.

This is the first contingent of the Russian vaccine of 2,000 doses. Next week, as previously announced, the vaccines will be distributed to health institutions in Republika Srpska, so that health workers in covid wards can be vaccinated.
