Vaccination without Appointment to begin in Sarajevo

The process of vaccinating citizens against coronavirus without notice will begin in the Sarajevo Canton (cS) on July 31, said Mirna Pecikoza, a spokeswoman for the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Health.
According to the information, the representatives of the Ministry of Health of CS and the Working Team for Vaccination in CS, headed by the Minister of Health of CS Haris Vranic, agreed on the distribution of several thousand doses that will arrive in CS in the coming days.
"A larger delivery of AstraZeneca vaccines is coming to the Sarajevo Canton, more precisely 24,000 doses. Considering the larger number of vaccines, on July 27, the citizens who applied will come to the call, ie 3,500 citizens under the age of 60 who will receive the call. On July 28, 3,500 citizens of essential occupations such as education and police come to the call. The next day, July 29, 3,000 citizens who also belong to the mentioned essential groups come to the call. Also, on July 30, an invitation will be sent to 3,000 citizens who belong to essential groups, "Pecikoza said.
After this period, according to the spokesperson, the Sarajevo Canton will start the process of vaccination of all citizens over the age of 18 without prior notice.
"On Saturday, July 31, we can announce that CS will be the first to start the 'open days'. 4,000 AstraZenec vaccines have been set aside for anyone over the age of 18 who can come to Zetra without notice. The same number of vaccines will be allocated on August 1 as well as on August 2 for the citizens of CS, regardless of the age group ", pointed out the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health.
