From yesterday (28th August 2013) the operating company “Vegafruit” in East Doboj again produces the popular juice “ Swity” in tetra pak. Besides the juice, with the same technology are also produced several other new brands of the company, and the first of which is the juice “Vega”.
The re-manufacturing of “Vegafruit” in municipality of East Doboj comes as a result of the management of local companies, but also due to the support of the local authorities in this municipality, leaded by Mayor Kemal Bratić, reports the portal Kupujmodomace.ba.
“Vegafruit” a few years ago had to close and to let go about 200 employees and to move to Gradačac. Back then, it stopped even the manufacturing of the most popular brand of the juice “Swity” because new machines of the world’s manufacturer Tetra Pak could not be transferred to facilities in Gradačac.
The restoration of the “Vegafruit” facilities in East Doboj is important not only for the company itself but also for the local community, because it opens up the possibility of re-employment in the area, but also the cooperation of agricultural cooperatives.
These encouraging economic information from “Vegafruit” come at a time of season for agricultural raw materials. So far during this season “Vegafruit” has bought more than 350 tons of various fruits and vegetables from the area of northeastern Bosnia.
The third positive news comes these days from Paris. The Global Trade Leaders Club awarded the prize International Europe Award for Quality 2013. (International European Award for Quality 2013) has gone to the Company “Vegafruit”.
The awards ceremony will be held in late October in Paris, and the very act of awarding, “Vegafruit” becomes a permanent member of the prestigious European trade association.
