Last night, the Association of Veterans of the Special Police Unit “Lasta” organized a reception at the restaurant “Nova Bentbasa” in Sarajevo on the occasion of receiving the 6th April Award of the City of Sarajevo and the successful completion of work in the previous year.
Besides the management and members, the reception was attended by the friends of the association, Minister of Internal Affairs of the FBiH Aljosa Campara; Minister ofor the Issues of Veterans and Disabled Soldiers of the Defense and Liberation War Salko Bukvarevic, Mayor of the Municipality of Ilidza Senaid Memic; municipal councillor of the Municipality of Centar and city councillor of the City of Sarajevo Velija Katica; President of the New Bosniak Movement Mirsad Cosic; numerous directors of cantonal companies; Commander of the manoeuvring unit of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs Mirsad Kurtagic and President of the Association of Police officers 92-95, as well as numerous other guests and friends of the association.
On behalf of the host, General Rusmir Mrkovic welcomed all the guests and praised the work of the management, which did everything in their power in order for the Association to enjoy the reputation that “Lasta” always had, which resulted in an increased number of memberships and realization of important projects.
Attendees were addressed by ministers Campara and Bukvarevic, Mayor Memic and Velija Katica. They praised the work of the association, successful cooperation with the relevant ministries and promised support for the projects that should be realized in the year of 2018, along with the congratulatory message for the 6th April Award.
