Veterans of RS Announced New Protests on Friday in Banja Luka

protesti-banjalukaVeterans of the RS announced that on Friday, 28 February they will organize a gathering at the park “Mladen Stojanović“ in Banja Luka, where they will point out the plight of veterans and hold a protest walk repeating their demands for the resignation of the current head of the RS Veterans’ Organization.

The dissatisfied veterans are demanding for the immediate resignation of the Banja Luka and Republican head of the RS Veterans Organizations, with Pantelija Ćurguz at the head, by Friday. They said that since the end of the war, they ‘’suffer injustice and humiliation from the war and post-war profiteers, who have pushed them to the bottom of the social ladder for their own personal enrichment’’.

They think that this is the ‘’last time to save themselves and their families from further humiliation’’. Therefore, on behalf of the ‘headquarters of the dissatisfied’, they call on all their co-veterans who are living at the social bottom to support them in order to ‘’clean their own ranks’’.

They expect a minimum of 2.000 people on Friday, who they say are daring to come to this gathering because there are many of them who are terrified.
