The Vice-President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Refik Lendo, met today with the Head of the European Union Delegation and the Special Representative of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Johann Sattler.

The interlocutors discussed the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the role of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on that path.

Ambassador Sattler emphasized the commitment of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina and its integration into the membership as soon as possible. In this context, he singled out the granting of candidate status to Bosnia and Herzegovina as a clear signal to the local authorities and citizens.

They also discussed the formation of a new convocation of the FBiH Government.

Vice President Lendo emphasized the need to end that process as soon as possible following the procedures prescribed by the Constitution of FBiH and by the majority will of the voters, announced the Office of the FBiH Vice President.
