Orban commented on the European Union’s policy towards migrants, which he opposes. According to Orban, the solution is for each EU country to “solve” the migrant problem in its own way.
“We made an offer of tolerance to Brussels: every country can deal with migration as it wants, but it cannot force Hungary to copy the failed migration policy of Western Europe. We do not want terrorism, gang wars and mini-Gazas in Budapest,” Orban said.
It is not clear what Orbán wanted to say with this statement about Gaza, but it can certainly be concluded that it is very inappropriate, especially if you take into account the current circumstances in the Middle East where Israeli shelling of Gaza kills hundreds of Palestinians every day, mostly children.
We remind you that Orban previously banned protests in support of the Palestinians in Hungary.
Orban then called the protests in support of the Palestinians “pro-terrorist”.
“There will be no pro-terrorist protests in Hungary. We will protect the people of Hungary,” Orban wrote on the X social network at the time.
