Former Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) national team player Edin Visca (34) has extended his contract with Trabzonspor.
In a statement from Trabzonspor, it was announced that an agreement had been reached with Visca on a 1+1 basis (conditional option), as his current contract was set to expire at the end of the season.
Trabzonspor’s vice president Zeyyat Kafkas emphasized that the agreement was reached in “30 seconds,” and Visca himself confirmed this, stating that he feels at home in Trabzon and is happy to stay.
After the contract signing ceremony, a jersey with the number 100 was presented to Visca, who recently played his 100th official match for Trabzonspor.
At the same time, Turkish media revealed that under the new contract, Visca will earn 1.5 million euros in the 2025/26 season, with the same amount to be received if the additional year of the contract is activated for the 2026/27 season.
Visca is the all-time best assist provider in the Turkish Super Lig, with 119 assists, and he has scored 100 goals in 389 appearances.
In addition to Trabzonspor, he has played for Istanbul Basaksehir, Zeljeznicar, and his hometown club Buducnost Banovici. For the BiH national team, he scored ten goals in 55 appearances, Klix.ba writes.
