Compared to the previous period, gradual progress in the clinical recovery of Ella Jovanović (17) is visible. Treatment continues at the Department of Surgery, with the implementation of multidisciplinary therapeutic measures that will enable continued stable recovery – announced today prof. Dr. Ismet Gavrankapetanović, director of the General Hospital ‘Prim. Dr. Abdullah Nakaš’.

Ella Jovanović (17) was hospitalized in the General Hospital ‘Prim. Dr. Abdulah Nakaš’ after the serious injuries she sustained in a tram accident in Sarajevo.

The accident happened on February 12, when a tram from the direction of the Railway Station entered the intersection near the Technical School at high speed.

As a result, it derailed, hit the tram station and pedestrians. On that occasion, one person died and four were injured.
