Zenica: the volleyball players of Čelik, one of the oldest sport teams from Zenica, started the preparations for the new season.
The desire to return among the best was obvious during the break when the representatives of the clubs “Zenica” and “Ruki”, wanting to improve the Zenica man’s volleyball quality, united two league clubs. The new team will compete in the next season in the Super League of the FB&H.
“We started with desire to improve the volleyball in Zenica and we expect to have a quality home playing team that will have a more important role in the Super League. We have promises of financial help, especially now when we united two clubs and made a respectable team.”- said Ruždija Radončić, head of the VC Čelik.
The trainings of the first team are held in the rooms of the elementary school “Musa Ćazim Ćatić” and “The first high school” and by start of the Championship more control matches are planned to be held.
