Police officers of the Police Department of the MUP of Sarajevo Canton, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton and in cooperation with the officers of the Intelligence and Security Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Police Department of the MUP of HNK and the Police Department of the MUP of TK, carried out an operational action codenamed “Panther”, with the aim of documenting the criminal offenses of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs.
In the area of Konjica, the town of Borci, a plantation with plants of the narcotic drug cannabis was found, where about 400 stems were confiscated, as well as the entire logistical equipment used for the illegal production of this narcotic drug.
During the searches of the premises used by the suspects, dozens of different packages were found, with a total weight of about 25 kilograms of substances associated with the narcotic drugs speed, hashish and marijuana, more than 45 kilograms of mass used to increase the total amount of narcotic drugs (the so-called mix mass), two pistols with the corresponding ammunition, about 70,000 KM in cash in EUR, BAM, USD and CHF currency, various equipment intended for the technological process of preparation and distribution of narcotic drugs, and numerous other items required by the Order and of importance for the investigation. Also, the Mercedes G motor vehicle was confiscated.
Three men and women were deprived of their freedom, as follows: S.F. (1981) from Konjic, S.D. (1986) from Sarajevo, I.M. (1992) from Sinj, citizen of Croatia and J.H.H. (1983) from Tuzla for the criminal offense Extended criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs in co-perpetration. 45-year-old S.F. is also charged with the criminal offense of Illegal possession of weapons or explosive substances.
The suspects are undergoing criminal processing in the official premises of the KS MUP Police Directorate, according to a joint statement from the Sarajevo Canton MUP Police Directorate and the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton
