Around 70 volunteers of the “Let’s Do It”, together with members of the Career Expo 2000 and the DVD “Vratnik” cleaned the historical monument Bijela tabija in Sarajevo.

This action was organized jointly by the Municipality Stari Grad, enterprises “Rad” and “Park” DVD “Vratnik” and Sarajevski Kiseljak.

The coordinator of the environmental project “Let’s Do It” Junuz Elkaz said that there is no garbage left behind the volunteers.

“We have collected more than 200 bags of garbage. Firefighters from DVD Vratnik and members of the Career Expo 2000 helped us a lot, and with the help of ropes and other equipment descended to inaccessible parts around the Bijela tabija” said Elkaz.

This action represents a pilot action for a major cleanup of “Let’s Do It – clean earth for one day”, which is being implemented throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina on Earth Day, 22nd  April.
