The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and the leader of the SNSD, the President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, visited the units of the Air Force and the anti-aircraft defense of the Serbian Army in Batajnica.
Apart from Dodik and Vučić, the highest officials of the Serbian Armed Forces attended the tour of the units at the Airport “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović” in Batajnica. Vučić showed Dodik the new equipment they have, which includes helicopters, airplanes and the like.
Vučić spoke about the unknown aircraft that entered Serbia’s airspace yesterday, saying that it was probably a spy balloon.
“The next time we discover it, we should knock it down immediately, by all means, involve the Air Defense Forces. So let’s determine whose it is,” Vučić said.
Addressing journalists during the tour, Dodik said that the strength of Serbia’s military power is both strength and security for the RS. The complete tour of the aircraft and other military equipment in Batajnica could be watched live on Tanjug’s YouTube, where the video can be viewed later.
Dodik is going to Belgrade with Vučić in a very stormy political period, a few days after the high representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Christian Schmidt imposed changes to the BiH Election Law, which Dodik does not like.
After that, Vučić also made a significant statement, saying that the Serbs are facing a difficult time, without elaborating on what he specifically meant.
The two also previously agreed to hold an all-Serbian assembly during the Easter period, and now they are expected to take some concrete joint steps at that assembly, given that Dodik is announcing unity.
Before the tour of the Serbian Air Force, Dodik was a guest on the Serbian television Prva, where he spoke about current political events and how the West wants to destroy the RS and Dodik.
“Sanctions, expulsions, blocking of accounts, everything made Republika Srpska disappear. They failed and now they need a culprit. Who is to blame now? Dodik needs to be removed now, as a symbol of that resistance. I am the president, I represent that, I symbolize the people” , pointed out Dodik.
In addition, he said that Christian Schmidt must not come to Republika Srpska and that he will be arrested as soon as he steps on the entity’s territory, Klix.ba reports.
