Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić suddenly fell ill during his stay in the United States, which is why he sought medical attention.

As “Blic” unofficially learned, after a check-up, Vučić decided to cut short his visit and return to Serbia. It all happened in the early afternoon.

The Serbian President’s office announced that the public would be informed in more detail in the coming days.

At the time he fell ill, Vučić was accompanied by Finance Minister Siniša Mali and his media advisor Suzana Vasiljević. The trio was preparing for upcoming meetings after meeting with Congresswoman Claudia Tenney, Rod Blagojević and Serbian entrepreneurs from America.

As a reminder, Vučić traveled to America on April 30, and it was planned to meet with senior Republican Party officials, as well as US President Donald Trump. At the beginning of the visit, he also met with former New York mayor and close associate of Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani.

The US President’s envoy for special missions Richard Grenell took to the social network “X” after it was announced that Vučić was cutting short his visit due to health problems.
