Vulic: ‘Initiative for Dismissal of BiH Foreign Minister on Monday’

The head of the SNSD MPs’ Club in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, Sanja Vulić, said that an initiative to dismiss the Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Elmedin Konaković, will be launched on Monday.

“This decision comes as a reaction to the statements and actions of the minister that we consider an insult to the Serbian people, especially in relation to his initiatives to declare January 9 a day of mourning,” Vulić said.

She believes that Konaković’s activities violate the constitutional order of BiH and threaten the rights and position of one of the constituent peoples in BiH – the Serbian people.

“We believe that such actions do not contribute to peace and stability in BiH, but additionally deepen political and ethnic tensions. The initiative will be submitted to the Collegium of the House of Representatives on Monday,” she said.

Following the initiative to dismiss the Minister of Security of BiH, Nenad Nešić, who was arrested and in custody, an initiative to dismiss another state minister will be launched, but it is not expected that Konaković will ultimately be dismissed, Klix.ba writes.
