The names of the best players and goalkeepers of the BH Telecom Premier League, Women’s Premier League, and the Premier Futsal League for the 2014/2015 season have been announced. Organized by the Football Federation of B&H, a public event was held today in the Hotel Terme conference hall in Ilidža.
This is the first official election organized by the Federation in history. The best awarded individual in each League competition was selected following a survey which was completed by coaches and captains of the teams that participated in the season.
The best goalkeeper and best player for the previous season of the B&H Premier League is Ratko Dujković (FC Zrinjski) and Wagner Santos Lago (FC Široki Brijeg), respectively.
“I want to thank all of the coaches and captains who voted for me. Thank you to my club, Široki Brijeg, my family, and everyone who helped me in B&H. Thank you dear God as well, without whom I would not be here. May God bless us all and Bosnia and Herzegovina”, said Wagner.
“The award is gaining even greater significance when you consider that the captains and coaches of all the teams were those who elected”, said Dujković.
Recognition for fair-play was awarded to FC Željezničar’s Dženis Beganović.
Bahrudin Omerbegović was elected best goalkeeper, and Anel Radmilović was elected best player in the Premier Futsal League.
The best player in the Women’s Premier League is Armisa Kuč, while Envera Hasanbegović is the best among women goalkeepers.
