The United States administration is sending Ukraine another $500 million military aid package, which will include ammunition, armored vehicles, radiation protection equipment, chemical and biological protection, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced.

According to him, “as part of the increased security assistance announced by US President Joseph Biden on September 26, the United States is providing another significant package of urgently needed weapons and equipment to Ukrainian partners.”

The weapons will be transferred from US warehouses, TASS reported.

Blinken said the package includes ammunition for Hymars multiple rocket launchers, 155- and 105-millimeter artillery shells, Harm anti-radiation missiles, drones, MRAP ambush-resistant vehicles, HMMVV vehicles, as well as chemical, biological and nuclear protection equipment, AT-4, TOV and Javelin anti-tank missile systems. In addition, the Ukrainian side will receive various equipment and spare parts.

Russian President Vladimir Putin previously stressed that the delivery of new weapons to Ukraine will not change the situation on the front, but will only prolong the conflict.
