The deputy mayor of the municipality, Bojan Lukač, told Srna that in the settlement of Ravnice, water entered one residential and two commercial buildings.

According to him, in Dobrljina, water entered two catering establishments and one company.

“Floods flooded the crops. There is drift on the roads. Currently, one-lane traffic is taking place on the section of the Novi Grad-Kostajnica highway in the section from Donji Vodičevo to Dobrljin,” he said.

Lukač says that Civil Protection teams and representatives of the local administration are on the ground, and that machines have been hired to remove sediment on local roads.

From 3:40 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., according to measurements at the meteorological station, 62 liters of rain fell per square meter.

By 5:00 p.m., torrential rains were also causing problems on roads in the city area.
