Camil DurakovicThe Organizing Committee for the marking of July 11, 1995, the 21st anniversary of the genocide in the “Safe Zone of UN” Srebrenica at the second meeting, which was held yesterday in Potocari, concluded that they will not make invitations for attending the commemoration this year.

It was confirmed after the meeting by the President of the Organizing Committee and Mayor of Srebrenica, Camil Durakovic, who said that this committee will only receive notice on the arrival of guests.

“This year we will not be sending invitations but inform on the 11th of July and activities, and everyone interested to come will announce their arrival to us, and we will provide the conditions for staying,” said Durakovic.

He stated that at the meeting were discussed the speeches at marking of the 21st anniversary, and that there were some conflicting opinions, but it was decided that the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH will address the attendees and someone on behalf of the host.

The next meeting of the Organizing Committee can be expected within the next 7 days.
