Webometrics: University of Sarajevo and Tuzla the Best in B&H

Sarajevo_University_buildingUniversity of Sarajevo and Tuzla got the first two places in B&H in the newest Webmetrics rank list of the world universities. These universities took 4525th place in global terms.

The rank -list is drawn by the amount of web publications conducted by universities, as well as the impact that these publications have.

University of Banja Luka took 4977th place, immediately after the University of Sarajevo and Tuzla.

The goal of this kind of ranking is to increase the presence of academic and research institutions on the Internet and promote free access to the results of scientific research.

According to the indicators of Webmetrics list, the University of Sarajevo was assessed the best for Excellence, and the worst for impact. Tuzla University is the best in the category of openness, and also the worst when it comes to impact, just like the University of Banja Luka.

Considering the public Universities in B&H, after the first three Universities, follows University of Zenica, Mostar University, University “Džemal Bijedić”, University in East Sarajevo and University of Bihać.
