German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who will arrive to an official visit to B&H on Thursday, will be ceremonially welcomed in Sarajevo, with the highest state and military honors.
Chancellor Merkel and the delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany will meet with the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of B&H, Denis Zvizdic and the delegation of the Council of Ministers of B&H.
Chancellor Merkel said earlier to hosts that, despite existing difficulties, a progress of B&H on the path of the European integrations is noticeable and that there are a good chances for B&H to join the European Union.
For the Chairman Zvizdic, a message from Merkel represents an extremely positive signal and an encouraging message for all levels of the government in B&H to dedicate more actively to the realization of key priorities which are: European integrations, economic development and the rule of law.
During the visit to B&H, German chancellor will visit the “Gallery 11/07/95“ with the Chairman Zvizdic. It is about the first memorial gallery in B&H, an exhibition area that aims to preserve the memory on the tragedy of Srebrenica and 8.372 killed people in Srebrenica genocide.
After this visit, Chairman Zvizdic will address the media.
