The bus traveling from Barcelona to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) stopped on Saturday around 8 p.m. at the Vidauban Sud highway resort in the south of France.
This place is located near the town of Le Luc, and there were 62 passengers on the bus, seven of whom lost consciousness.
Seven ambulances, two vehicles for nurses, and one vehicle with doctors were dispatched to the scene.
31 firefighters were also mobilized, and the Mobile Emergency and Resuscitation Service (SMUR) from Draguignan went to the scene to provide their support.
It is now being investigated in order to determine the exact causes of this event, i.e. discomfort among passengers, who have the same or similar symptoms such as fainting, dizziness, or nausea.
Such situations can be caused by various factors during travel, including environmental conditions such as poor ventilation in buses, exposure to toxic substances, or even psychological stress, Klix.ba reports.
