At the invitation of the High Representative of the European Union and Vice-President of the European Commission for Foreign and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, the Chairman of BiH’s Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdic attended the meeting of Head of the Western Balkans.
During his speech, Zvizdic stressed the importance of continuity of dialogue. In addition, he noted that regional cooperation and mutual trust are key to improving political and economic relations, attracting foreign investment, preserving stability and enhancing the process of reconciliation.
He said that BiH is comitted to the principles, goals and values of the European Union and that it will continue to work on progress in all processes, especially socio-economic reforms.
When it comes to answers on the Europen Comission Questionnaire, Chairman Zvizdic said that BiH is currently in the process of finalizing the responses to the additional questions.
Zvizdic said that EU’s ongoing engagement in supporting stability and strengthening of political and economic ties within the Western Balkans region is of a vast importance.
He stressed that BiH remains fully committed to the further continuation of regional cooperation in order to preserve peace and stability.
Chairman Zvizdić said that the principle of respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of each country is a prerequisite for further stabilization and prosperity.
