What is the Amount of Gross Electricity Production in Bosnia and Herzegovina?

Gross electricity production in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in June amounted to 1.188 gigawatt-hours (GWh), which is 15.9 percent more than in the same month last year, and 1.33 percent less than in May, the Statistics Agency of BiH announced.

Hydropower plants participated in the total gross production with 25.5 percent, thermal power plants with 72.4 percent, whilesolar and wind power plants with 2.1 percent.

Gross production of hydropower plants in June amounted to 303 GWh, which is 18.82 percent more than in the same month last year, and 31.76 percent less than in May, Biznis Info writes

When it comes to the gross production of thermal power plants in the sixth month, it amounted to 860 GWh, which is 14.66 percent more than in June 2020, and 19.27 percent more than the previous month.

Gross production of solar and wind power in June was 25 GWh, and it is an increase of 25 percent compared to the same month last year, and 35.9 percent less than in May.
