What is the average monthly net Salary in BiH?

The average monthly net salary paid per employee in legal entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in August amounted to 1,392 BAM and is nominally lower by 0.3 percent and in real terms by 0.8 percent compared to the previous month.

Compared to August last year, the average paid net salary was nominally higher by 8.7 percent, while the real index was higher by 7.3 percent, announced the BiH Statistics Agency.

The net salary paid in August in information and communications amounted to 1,988 BAM, in finance and insurance activities 1,939 BAM, and in production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning 1,881 BAM.

In providing accommodation, and preparing and serving food, the average net salary paid in August was 907 BAM, in construction 1,032 BAM, and in wholesale and retail trade, and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles 1,088 BAM.

The average monthly gross salary per employee for August was 2,154 BAM, which shows a nominal drop of 0.3 percent, and a real drop of 0.8 percent compared to July.

The average monthly gross salary paid for August compared to the same month last year was nominally higher by 9.1 percent, while the real index was higher by 7.7 percent.
