At the press conference held in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH’s) capital Sarajevo after the Meeting in Berlin, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic said that so far, a total of 46 persons have returned from the battlefield in Syria to BiH, and more than 100 BiH citizens are still there.

Zvizdic added that the Information on Migrations in BiH has been introduced to the BiH Presidency for consideration and it states the exact data on presence of BiH citizens in foreign battlefields.

“One person is already under legal sanctions of BiH and we are closely monitoring these processes and everyone who returns will be under legal sanction,” Zvizdic noted.

He highlighted that BiH is no threat when it comes to terrorism and that police and intelligence agencies are in constant cooperation.
