What is the Number of Employed Persons in BiH?

In October 2018, the number of persons in paid employment in BiH amounted to 813.205, out of which there were 346.520 women.

As compared to September 2018, the number of persons in paid employment increased by 0,9% and the number of employed women also increased by 0,6%.

The number of unemployed persons in October 2018 compared to September 2018 increased by 0,6% and the number of unemployed women also decreased by 0 ,9%.

According to BiH’s Agency for Statistics, in October 2018, the average monthly paid off net earnings per person in employment in legal entities in BiH amounted to 894 BAM, which represented the nominal increase of 3,7 % as compared to December 2017.

In comparison to October 2017, the average monthly paid off net earnings for the October 2018 was nominally by 4,8% higher.

Also, in October 2018, the average monthly gross earnings per person in employment in legal entities in BiH amounted to 1.379 BAM, which represented the nominal increase of 3% as compared to December 2017.

In comparison to October 2017, the average monthly gross earnings for the October 2018 was nominally by 4,1% higher.
