What is the Total Expenditure for Environment Protection in BiH?

Total expenditure for environment protection in 2017 amounted to 95.402.323 convertible mark (BAM).

According to data from BiHćs Agency for Statistics, the total investment for environmental protection in 2017 amounted to 43.543.315 convertible mark. In structure investments for environmental protection, the end-of-pipeline investments accounted for 93.6% of the total amount and the investments in environmental pollution prevention for 6.4%.

In the total amount of investments, investments in air accounted for 91%, in wastewater management for 2%, in waste management for 5.2%, in the protection of soil and groundwater for 1.5%, in noise and vibration abatement for 0.2%, in protection of biodiversity for 0.1%.

The total current expenditures for environmental protection in 2017 amounted to 51.859.008 convertible mark. In the total amount of current expenditures for environmental protection, internal current expenditures accounted for 72.3% and external current expenditures for 27.7%.

Of the total amount of current expenditures for environmental protection, air accounted for 2.4%, wastewater management for 14.2%, waste management for 72.8%, protection of soil and groundwater for 3.1%, noise and vibration abatement for 0.1%, protection of biodiversity for 1.4% and other environmental protection activities for 5.1%.
