In the first three months of this year, eleven companies producing ammunition and operating within the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) achieved a turnover in the amount of 57.5 million BAM, according to Dnevni Avaz.

Two privately-owned companies, Koteks Tesanj and Guma Bugojno, did not submit business data, which reduced the plan.

As expected, the state-owned company Igman from Konjic earned the most in the first quarter, totaling 22.7 million BAM. But the company’s planned earnings by the end of the year are as high as 135.9 million BAM. This plan is bigger for almost ten million compared to last year.

When it comes to BNT Novi Travnik, which two years ago produced a self-propelled grenade, earned 7.1 million BAM for three months, while Gorazde’s Unis Ginex was up to 10.4 million BAM. Unlike last year, BNT has increased its earnings by nearly two million.

However, by the end of the year, BNT expects a profit of 17.6 million BAM and Unis Ginex 40.6 million BAM.

The biggest decline was recorded by the Vojvodina Pretis, earning only 3.1 million BAM. Last year, this company traded 9.4 million BAM in the same period. By the end of the year, according to plan, they expect a profit of 18.5 million BAM.
