Revenues collected from indirect taxes in the first three months of the year of 2018 amounted to a total of 1 billion and 701 million BAM and they are by 158 million BAM or 10.25 % higher in comparison to the same period of 2017, when they amounted to 1 billion and 543 million BAM.

After the refund for taxpayers who realized the right to VAT refund in the amount of 319 million BAM in the first three months of 2018, the net revenues collected for distribution to users, i.e. the state, entities and Brcko District, amounted to a total of 1 billion and 382 million BAM and they were higher by 133 million BAM in comparison to the revenues that the aforementioned users received from the Single Account in the same period of 2017.

From the funds collected by the ITA, all levels of government in BiH are financed with more than 80 %: the state, entities, Brcko District, cantons in the FBiH and municipalities all over BiH, as noted from the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH.

When it comes to revenues collected only in March 2018, the ITA collected 575 million BAM of indirect taxes, which is by 24 million BAM more than in the month of March 2017.

In the first three months of 2018, the amount of 184 million BAM was allocated for the process of financing state institutions. The rest of the funds were allocated in a way that the FBiH received 751 million BAM, the RS received 376 million BAM while 41 million BAM were allocated for Brcko District.

Besides the allocated revenues, and on the basis of special toll for the construction of highways (0.10 BAM), the FBiH received additional 6.5 million BAM, Republika Srpska received 4.3 million BAM and Brcko District received 0.2 million BAM.

The allocation of revenues collected from tolls, and which are intended for the construction of highways and the construction and reconstruction of other roads, will be conducted in accordance with the methodology prescribed by the Managing Board.
