A wristwatch largely affects the overall impression of a person, and this is especially the case when it comes to politicians.

Politicians, primarily those with international influence, are expected to have a watch that reflects their role and character. A watch is thought to reveal a lot about behavior, taste, and social status.

President of the United States (U.S.)

The U.S. President Joe Biden has three wristwatches – Rolex Datejust 41mm, Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch, and Omega Seamaster 300M. The current price of his Rolex is 13.000 dollars, the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch is 6.300 dollars, while the Omega Seamaster is 2.800 dollars.

The Rolex has a blue dial, a smooth bezel, and a jubilee bracelet. The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch has a black dial with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The case of this watch is made of stainless steel and contains a small second sub-dial. The Omega Seamaster is a watch that was first seen in the movie “GoldenEye”, on the wrist of Pierce Brosnan who played James Bond.

President of Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin owns three watches, namely F.P. Journe Chronometre Bleu, Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar 5039J, and A. Lange und Sohne in platinum.

A Swedish watch portal wrote that Putin is an avid watch collector. The price of the F.P. Journe Chronometre Bleu is 100.000 dollars, the Patek Philippe 38.000 dollars, and the A. Lange und Sohne watch 25.000 dollars.

F.P. Journe Chronometre Bleu is a watch whose case is made of tantalum, a rare metal with exceptional resistance to corrosion. Patek Philippe is an 18-carat gold watch, while A. Lange und Sohne is in platinum. It was made in memory of the creator of this brand, Ferdinand Adolph Lange.

President of China

In 2019, Chinese President Xi Jinping was seen at the G20 summit in Osaka wearing an Omega Constellation 1995 watch, which has a market price of 1.300 dollars. This watch also has a blue dial and is made of stainless steel.

President of France

The President of France Emmanuel Macron has two watches – a Longines Dolce Vita and a watch of the French brand March LA.B AM69. The price of his Longiness is 600 dollars, while the price of the second watch is 500 dollars.

Sultan of Brunei

The Sultan of Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah is not among the world’s most influential people, but he probably has some of the most expensive watches compared to world leaders. He has a collection of lavish watches, including the Richard Mille 56-01 Tourbillon, the Richard Mille Tourbillon Sapphire 56-02, and the Patek Philippe Nautilus Perpetual Calendar in white gold.

The price of the Richard Mille 56-01 Tourbillon watch is two million dollars, the Richard Mille Tourbillon Sapphire 56-02 is 2.2 million dollars, and the Patek Philippe is 286.000 dollars.

The Richard Mille 56-01 Tourbillon is made of sapphire crystal and titanium. There are only five such wristwatches. The Richard Mille Tourbillon Sapphire 56-02 is a watch made just for the Sultan of Brunei, Klix.ba reports.
