The House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) adopted an amendment allocating financial resources for the preparation of the conceptual project of the highway Tuzla – Sarajevo.

At the proposal of the Eight and HDZ, 4.500.000 BAM was provided in the budget of the FBiH for 2023.

On this occasion, Mirjana Marinkovic Lepic said that there is no more important and at the same time more neglected traffic section than the Sarajevo-Tuzla road.

”These are the two most populous and economically developed cantons, which must be better connected,” she stated.

The amendment adopted at the session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the FBiH enabled the first step for the construction of the highway.

”The four and a half million that we provided is enough to create the main project, which would provide the documentation for the construction of the highway.”

”This will significantly shorten the journey between these two important BiH centers, and increase economic activity,” said Dragan Miokovic, representative of Our Party in the FBiH Parliament.
