It is planned to hold a session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina related to the procedure for electing the president and vice president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the end of this week or at the beginning of next week, said the chairwoman of the new convocation of this House, Mirjana Marinković Lepić, noting that the specified term is not entirely certain because everything should be done in accordance with and depending on the necessary procedures.
Namely, the list of candidates should be certified by the BiH Central Election Commission and returned to the Parliament after the 48-hour appeal period has expired.
The House of Representatives should submit the list to the Central Election Commission for verification and verification, which has not been done so far. Today, the two institutions were contacted in this regard.
According to the rules, the House of Representatives, and then the House of Peoples in the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, decide on the election of the three-member leadership of the FBiH.
The president and two vice presidents of FBiH are individual members from all three constituent peoples. They ultimately decide between themselves who will be the president.
It is known that the president and two vice presidents are indispensable factors in proposing and appointing the FBiH Government.
