The list of European countries whose citizens believe in God the most has been published, and our country was in the first place.

The list was published by the Instagram profile Landgeist, and according to research conducted by the Pew Research Center.

The Pew Research Center regularly conducts surveys of public opinion in countries as part of its ongoing survey of attitudes and values. During their survey, they published a list of countries whose residents believe in God the most “with absolute certainty”.

Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) was in first place with 66 percent of people who believe in God. Second on the list is Romania with a percentage of 64 and Greece, whose percentage of believers was 59.

As for the countries from the region that were among the top ten on the list, Serbia and Croatia took fourth and fifth place, respectively.

They state that the population of Southeast Europe believes in God more than the rest of the continent. On the other hand, in this region, one country is specific, and that is Bulgaria. The percentage of the population that believes in God in Bulgaria is only 30 percent, Klix.ba reports.
