The delegation of the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina informed the public today that part of the funds from the European funds have been provided for the apartments of refugees and displaced families in the Republika Srpska.

They said this after the keys were handed over to the mentioned families in Banja Luka today.

“The regional housing program helps ensure that thousands of displaced persons have a place they can call home. Of the 294 million euros allocated to Regional Housing Programme, the European Commission provided 81 percent. EU member states and other international donors provided the rest,” the EU delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.

They emphasized that they are proud of this project and that it may be something that the citizens have not heard today.

This message can be interpreted as a reference to Dodik’s announcement in which he informed the public that he attended the act of giving keys to families.

Dodik forgot to point out who financed this project. He emphasized that he hopes that the families will have a decent life.

“I believe that the refugee and displaced families who were handed the keys to the apartments in the Ada settlement in Banja Luka will finally have a safe and decent life after many years of waiting. I thank everyone who helped in this program, which is being implemented by the Republika Srpska,” said Dodik today.

The publication did not mention how the funds were provided, and this can be interpreted as “scoring” cheap political points, Klix.ba reports.
