A White House official confirmed that Donald Trump’s administration was “informed” about the Israeli attack on Doha before it happened.

Israel’s attack on Qatar, a key United States (U.S.) ally outside NATO, immediately raised questions about the extent of U.S. awareness and involvement, especially given the roughly 10.000 U.S. soldiers stationed in that country.

We were expected to hear more from the White House perspectiveyesterday, when press secretary Karoline Leavitt briefed reporters.

The first appearance of U.S. President Trump in front of the cameras was yesterday, when he signed a proclamation related to healthcare in the Oval Office.
