The “De Machinist” Hall in Rotterdam was too small to receive everyone who came to mark the White Ribbon Day, which is organized by the Foundation “Sedra” in memory of the innocent victims of Prijedor in 1992 for the fourth consecutive year.

The program was opened by reading parts from the poem by Admir Muhic “Hava, mother from Prijedor” and reading names of 102 children killed in the Municipality of Prijedor. Moderator Adis Lizde presented the work of the Foundation “Sedra” and he explained the importance of marking this day.

The organizer hosted Fikret Bacic, one of the parents who are still searching for the remains of his children and other family members. Mirsada Colakovic, the Ambassador of BiH in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, addressed the attendees.

The promotion of the book by Admira Fazlic “Man and Photography” took place as well. We should also mention that Admira donated ten books to the Foundation “Sedra”, and all the money collected will be spent on visits to the former detention camps of Trnopolje and Omarska.

This year’s program was completed with a quiet walk to the Maas River and throwing 102 white roses into the river.
