In the Republika Srpska, after the elections, the SNSD will have a comfortable majority in the assembly, and it is clear that this party will provide a new Prime Minister. According to everything, it will be Dodik. Which is not yet known.

With a comfortable majority in the Assembly, all doors are open to the SNSD. The key question now is who will be the new prime minister. Milorad, if he receives a pardon in the Presidency, which requires the consensus of all three members, and if not, then Igor, according to communications expert Mladen Bubonjić.

“I assume that in that interim period, someone will definitely be proposed who will be the prime minister, and it is most likely his son, as has been speculated all these weeks and months”, believes communication expert Mladen Bubonjić.

According to journalist Vladimir Šušak, Igor Dodik has the best chance, given the number of votes, to sit in the prime minister’s chair, which will be left to him by his godfather Savo Miniić.

“I think it will be a subject of trade and discussion during the formation of the government at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” points out Šušak.

Political analyst Stefan Blagić still believes that everything depends on the position and thinking of the elder Dodik.

“According to everything, as things stand now – Dodik will be prime minister, and which Dodik will remain remains to be seen, since there are still some speculations about the pardon, and on the other hand, I also think that it is time in Dodik’s mind, Dodik’s father, to do some things – the formal transfer of power to his son, but I am almost certain that one of Dodik will be prime minister”, says Blagić.

Whoever sits in the prime minister’s chair, it is clear that power in Republika Srpska remains firmly in the hands of the Dodik family. The closest collaborator remains in the Presidency, and one of the godfathers becomes the president of the RS. Dodik, whoever, at the head of the government is a certain scenario.
