Denis Zvizdić (People and Justice party) was elected today as the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Deputy Speakers will be Marinko Čavara (HDZ) and Nebojša Radmanović (SNSD).
After a short break, the newly elected speaker Denis Zvizdić took over the leadership of the session.
According to the proposed agenda of today’s constitutive session, it remains for MPs to elect the members of the Committee for the Preparation of the Election of the BiH Council of Ministers.
At the constitutive session of the new convocation of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, certificates were presented to the elected MPs, after which the taking of the solemn oath proceeded.
President of the Central Election Commission of BiH (CEC BiH) Suad Arnautović congratulated the newly elected MPs on their electoral success in the 2022 General Elections.
“The voters gave their vote and trust to you and to the political subjects whose candidates you were in the recently held elections. Your election to the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament also represents a responsibility because your voters expect you to fulfill your pre-election promises and implement your programs,” emphasized Arnautović.
The chairman of the constitutive session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, Mirsad Zaimović, called on political subjects to form the clubs and report this to the parliament’s services, Fena news agency reports.
