Why does Zoran Milanovic think that Dodik’s Policy is not so problematic?

The President of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic, has repeatedly stated that the policy of the leader of the SNSD, Milorad Dodik, is not problematic for Croatia because “everything is agreed with him in ten minutes.”

”Milorad Dodik is sometimes unrestrained and problematic, but he is the last problem in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) thatshould be addressed, especially from the perspective of BiH Croats. I don’t even know why Dodik is mentioned. We agree with Dodik in ten minutes, and not about the division of BiH, but about the organization of BiH,” he said.

The process of disempowering the state of BiH, trying to seize state property through illegal laws, forming para institutions, and much more is still in the thick files of the Republika Srpska (RS) ruling structure and its officials.

Unfortunately, Milanovic still does not see a big problem in that, because all eyes are on the amendments to the BiH Election Law tailored to the HDZ, whose proposals also have the support of Dodik’s SNSD.

And that Dodik’s policy is actually a problem of BiH, but also of the West, is shown by United States (U.S.) and the United Kingdoms (UK) sanctions, not only to Dodik but also to his close associates from the SNSD.

Whether Milanovic agrees or not, sanctions against the main pro-Russian politician in the Balkans will be joined by several other European Union (EU) member states, and if he continues with his unconstitutional policy, Schmidt could once again pull for the Bonn powers and start removing all those who follow Dodik and his political ideas that undermine the state of BiH.

The latest sanctions that Dodik received from the UK clearly emphasized that the leader of the SNSD and a member of the Presidency of BiH is under Putin’s direct influence.

What can be expected is that Dodik will become a problem for Croatian President Zoran Milanovic as soon as a solution to the electoral reform is found, specifically when Dodik becomes an unnecessary link for Croats in BiH, but also official Zagreb.
