Will Political Agreement on Principles for ensuring a functioning BiH be signed?

The political agreement on the principles for ensuring a functioning Bosnia and Herzegovina that is making strides on the path to the EU was accepted by the majority of participants in the talks in Brussels organized yesterday by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.
The agreement was supported by parties based in Sarajevo (SDA, SDP, DF, NiP, NS, PDA, NES and NB).

As Klix.ba has learned, the leader of the DNS, Nenad Nesic, as well as the president of the PDP, Branislav Borenovic, were against it.
Nesic also explained why he did not want to support the joint agreement from Brussels.

“I have no need or desire to flatter anyone outside. My job is to take care of our people and our Republika Srpska. I will never be a traitor of the Republika Srpska, regardless of my personal price. I don’t need to give cheap excuses that I didn’t sign because of Dodik, Komsic, this or that. I did not sign because the Republika Srpska and the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska are sacred to me, “said Nesic from Brussels.

HDZ BiH President Dragan Covic also did not support the joint agreement.
It is interesting that, according to Klix.ba information, the president of the SNSD, Milorad Dodik, is also ready to support the agreement, albeit with a separate opinion on the item referring to the condemnation of the Russian aggression against Ukraine.

“I accept this agreement only because of you,” Dodik told Michel.

It is important to note that nothing has been signed yet and that this only applies to those who support the content of the agreement and those who do not.
