Yesterday, April 17th, a meeting of the working group for the establishment of the Helicopter Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Canton Sarajevo (CS) was held in the premises of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of CS.

As they stated in the announcement, there are three priority issues: the construction of the hangar, the training of the staff, and the acquisition of the aircraft.

“The members of this working group work every day to ensure the conditions for the implementation of all planned activities in connection with the formation of the Helicopter Unit.

It is important to emphasize that this is a project whose realization has been actively worked on for several years, all with the aim of fulfilling all the prerequisites for the full functionality of the Helicopter Unit as well as possible.

In the coming period, the focus is on the purchase of land and preparation of the hangar, as well as supporting facilities for the stationing of this unit, then testing and training candidates, and ultimately the purchase of the aircraft,” the announcement reads.
