Will the Roundabout on Otoka solve the Problem of Traffic Jams?

roundabout OtokaA long-term problem of traffic jams which occur in morning and afternoon hours at the intersection in Buca Potok and at the underpass on Otoka should be largely solved with a roundabout which has been constructed at the intersection of the streets Dzemala Bijedica and the sixth transversal.

The roundabout is in function and, according to the Municipality Novi Grad which, together with the Directorate for Roads of the Sarajevo Canton, funded these works, better and in terms of traffic safety far more favorable traffic solution will be reached.

“However, in order to solve the problem of traffic jams in a quality way and provide full function for this traffic solution, it is necessary to construct another roundabout at the intersection of streets Safeta Zajke and the sixth transversal”.

The project is worth around 2.1 million BAM.
