The airline Wizz Air has announced that it will operate flights on the Tuzla-Vienna route four times a week (on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays) starting from June 15th, offering flexible travel options for tourists, business travelers, and those visiting family.

Tickets are now available for purchase on wizzair.com and through the official Wizz Air mobile app, with initial prices starting from 73.99 BAM.

With convenient flight times and a direct route, Wizz Air makes it easier for travelers from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to enjoy the charms of the Austrian capital.

Wizz Air’s Corporate Communications Manager Olivia Harangozo stated that they are excited to relaunch the Vienna route, providing BiH citizens with more opportunities to visit the city.

“This new destination in our network brings numerous opportunities for both cities. Tuzla, with its rich cultural heritage and dynamic economic landscape, is a hidden gem of BiH that we want to introduce to our passengers from Austria. At the same time, this route will provide the BiH community with easier access to Vienna. We believe that this connection will not only strengthen cultural ties but also encourage new business opportunities between the two regions,” said Harangozo.

The Executive Director for Marketing and Development of Tuzla International Airport, Mirnes Vejzovic, stated that Wizz Air has confirmed the continuation of flights to Vienna this summer, which has been welcomed with enthusiasm by both airport management and passengers.

“We remain committed to supporting Wizz Air’s operations and are fully prepared to meet their infrastructure and personnel requirements in the coming period. We also look forward to the possibility of establishing additional routes and strengthening our business cooperation,” said Vejzovic.

All flights will be operated with the state-of-the-art Airbus A321neo, the most efficient and sustainable aircraft in its category, according to a statement from the Tuzla Canton (TC) Government.
