Wizz Air is canceling its base in Tuzla and suspending several routes, Dževad Halilčević, director of Tuzla International Airport, confirmed for BHT1.
As Wizz Air states in a statement, they are doing this due to the changing economic environment, as well as operational challenges caused by the weather in the region and taking advantage of the opportunity for growth by reallocating their capacity to other routes with higher demand.
In September of this year, they will move their two planes based in Tuzla to other bases within the network. Wizz Air will continue with flights from Tuzla to Basel Mulhouse, Dortmund, Frankfurt-Hahn and Memmingen.
