From January until June this year, there were 6,764 flights recorded, a 3.9 percent decrease year-on-year.
The report by the Federation Bureau of Statistics adds that airports located in the FBiH registered 732,606 passengers in the first six months of this year, which is 2.4 percent increase year-on-year.
The significant decrease was recorded in the freight traffic which amounted to 882 tons, recording a 17.3 percent decrease year-on-year.
Based on the data from BiH’s Civil Aviation Directorate, Sarajevo International Airport welcomed more than 1 million passengers in 2018.
Mostar Airport, located some 130 km southwest of the capital recorded 28,673 passengers, while Tuzla Airport, located 110 km northeast of Sarajevo, recorded 584,610 passengers. Enditem
