Plea agreements concluded by the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Una-Sana Canton with two defendants—accused of organizing a group and trafficking in narcotic drugs—have concluded the proceedings against Emir Hadžipašić and Irfan Bužimkić. Meanwhile, the trial of the third defendant, Hasnija Demirović, will continue before the Cantonal Court in Bihać.

Emir Hadžipašić was sentenced to a single, consolidated prison term of four years and six months, while Irfan Bužimkić was sentenced to two years and six months in prison. The time they have spent in custody—where both have been held since February 19, 2026—is credited toward their sentences.

As part of the agreement, the illicit financial gain obtained by Hadžipašić through the criminal offense was confiscated; this includes cash in various denominations and currencies totaling approximately 12,000 KM, as well as six passenger motor vehicles.

Additionally, the following items were seized from him: the remaining narcotic drugs—cannabis (with a total net weight of 1,379 grams), cocaine (27.619 grams), and amphetamine (“speed,” 275.480 grams)—along with two mobile phones, 24 rounds of .357 Magnum ammunition, and other objects used in, or intended for, the commission of the criminal offenses.

In addition to his prison sentence, items confiscated from Bužimkić include the remaining cocaine (with a net weight of 0.165 grams) and a bank card, upon which traces of amphetamine were detected. In August of this year, the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Una-Sana Canton filed an indictment against Hadžipašić, Bužimkić, and Demirović, alleging that, between July 2025 and February 19, 2026, they operated as an organized group to procure, store, and sell various types of narcotic drugs within the territory of the Una-Sana Canton.

According to the indictment, Hadžipašić organized the group and procured large quantities of cannabis, amphetamine (“speed”), and cocaine from at least three locations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The indictment states that he took possession of the drugs either personally or with the assistance of Bužimkić, with payment made either in cash or through the transfer of passenger motor vehicles.

Once procured, the drugs were transported to the Bosanska Krupa area, where they were stored at locations known to the group members; they were subsequently weighed and packaged for resale at the homes of Hadžipašić, Bužimkić, or Demirović.

The indictment alleges that sales were primarily arranged via telephone using coded conversations, during which buyers and group members would agree upon the quantity, price, and delivery location.

The indictment further charges Hadžipašić with the unauthorized possession of 24 rounds of .357 Magnum ammunition, discovered at his family home in Bosanska Krupa on February 19, 2026.

Proceedings against the third defendant, Hasnija Demirović from Bosanska Krupa, are continuing before the Cantonal Court in Bihać.
