13569814_1223223554395265_2019648325_oDue to many inquiries of the public about non-working days on the occasion of religious holidays next week, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of FBiH was contacted.

Namely, the Labor Law (Official Gazette of FBiH, number 43/99,32/00 and 29/03) defines the right of employees to be absent from work for four working days during one calendar year for the purpose of satisfying their religious or traditional needs.

It should be taken into consideration that absence for two days is used with wage reimbursement – as paid absence, and two days as unpaid absence, confirmed the Ministry.
