Apart from large number of domestic and international exhibitors and participants of the forum, at Sarajevo Halal Fair&Forum Sahaf 2013, traditional art of BIH will be exhibited as well, and Association for Promotion and Development of Cultural Heritage of BIH ‘Zlatne ruke’ from Ilijaš, that has more than 150 members, will present themselves as well, said the organisers of the forum.
Members of the Association ,dressed in traditional Bosnian garments will offer visitors of Sahaf their permanent exhibition of traditional Bosnian room, and will exhibit their handicrafts, woven, embroidered, knitted and other unique item, and many of them will be able to buy at very reasonable prices.
‘Money made from selling of handicrafts will be used to purchase material for work, and other materials needed for the project ‘Bosnian room’, as well as for educational purposes, such as organising workshops, seminars for women. ‘Zlatne ruke’ is an association of had working women who recognised the value of BiH cultural heritage, and have exchanged knowledge and skills from one another in order to preserve them, which will hopefully be recognised by visitors of SAHAF’, said the president of the Association Sedika Duručak.
SAHAF- Sarajevo Halal Fair&Forum 2013 will be held from 15 to 17 May in Sarajevo Centre Skenderija from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
