Work to Improve Economic Cooperation of BiH and Turkey

SONY DSCChairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Vjekoslav Bevanda received today in Sarajevo the President of the National Assembly of Turkey Cemil Çiçek.

They expressed satisfaction with the fact that cooperation between BIH and Turkey is an example of two friendly countries and stressed that there is more room for improvement, especially when it comes to economic cooperation.

They stressed that Turkey is in ninth place as a trading partner of BiH, and Chairman Bevanda said that there is space for progress through cooperation between business people.

President of the Assembly Çiçek said that investors are looking for stability and security and therefore it is a long-term commitment of Turkey in establishing peace and stability in the region. With this in mind, he repeated the efforts of Turkey to the Euroatlantic integration of BIH, which would establish a more favorable climate for the development of the economy.

Chairman Bevanda thanked the support of Turkey to BiH, and expressed the commitment of the Council of Ministers of BiH to create the conditions in order to Turkish business people to conduct business in BiH easier and improve economic cooperation.
